"Plants don't have roots, they have mycorrhizae."
Prof. José Miguel Barea†, Granada

A plant that enjoys a mycorrhizal symbiosis is not only better nourished and watered but also tolerates various stresses, before all abiotic ones such as drought, salinity, pollutants or degraded soils. While not being able to fight and control biotic stresses, it will contribute to a certain tolerance to them (pathogens, nematodes). The worse the growing conditions, the best the beneficial effects of mycorrhizae.

The agronomic advantages of using endomycorrhizal inocula are higher yield, precocity, loss reduction at transplanting, and more homogeneous fruit quality (wastage reduction). In lawns, asides of the general benefits provided by the symbiosis, up to 40% reduction of irrigation requirement as well as less compact soils can be achieved. The corresponding economic benefits are significant, as the costs for inoculants and their application are more than compensated, by a multiple between 5 and 20 times.

Low investment, common skill requirements, absence of regulatory interferences, low costs, absence of patent barriers: the in vivo process is predestined for self-production of mycorrhizal inoculants.

What is a Content Management System?

Site and Administrator. Logging in. Creating an article. Template and modules. Learn more. It's easy to get started creating your website. Knowing some of the basics will help. A content management system is software that allows you to create and manage webpages easily by separating the creation of your content from the mechanics required to present it on the web. In this site, the content is stored in a database. The look and feel are created by a template. The Joomla! software brings together the template and the content to create web pages. Your site actually has two separate sites. The site (also called the front end) is what visitors to your site will see. The administrator (also called the back end) is only used by people managing your site. You can access the administrator by clicking the "Site Administrator" link on the "User Menu" menu (visible once you login) or by adding /administrator to the end of your domain name. Log in to the administrator using the username and password created during the installation of Joomla. To login to the front end of your site use the login form. Use the user name and password that were created as part of the installation process. Once logged-in you will be able to create and edit articles. In managing your site, you will be able to create content that only logged-in users are able to see. Once you are logged-in, a new menu will be visible. To create a new article, click on the "Submit Article" link on that menu. The new article interface gives you a lot of options, but all you need to do is add a title and put something in the content area. To make it easy to find, set the state to published. The look and feel of your site is controlled by a template. You can change the site name, background colour, highlights colour and more by editing the template options. In the administrator go to the Template Styles and click on My Default Template (Protostar). Most changes will be made on the Options tab. The boxes around the main content of the site are called modules. You can change the image at the top of the page by editing the Image Module module in the Module Manager. You can edit an existing article by clicking on the edit icon (this only displays to users who have the right to edit). There is much more to learn about how to use Joomla! to create the web site you envision. You can learn much more at the and on the. Joomla! documentation site.

When internal views need to be complemented with external expertise,

When your time and your team's time are getting scarce,

Personal Re-orientation Guide

One of the experiences that you may have to make during your professional career is to have to reorient it.

For whatever reason you lose your job or you want to quit. Is it a drama or a nice opportunity? This will depend on the circumstances and on your personality. It may be both at the same time.

Nobody likes joblessness, even if it is now becoming a positive item in a résumé. Having gone through such situation, you will have accumulated a rich experience, valuable in the eyes of a potential new employer.

This guide has not the pretention to offer a unique approach; some of what is proffered may be felt as trivial; and a lot has to deal with common sense. Nevertheless it may be helpful to someone who is exposed to the situation, without having had much time to get prepared for such exercise.

Simple things are not easily put together; and clarity is in high demand when difficult decisions must be taken. This is why that short guide is neither banal, nor without merit.

Is this guide for you?

Having already gathered some experience in your professional career you aspire to the best orientation possible for a next phase. Your management back-pack has some weight, not necessarily in all business areas but at least with relevant exposure to people management and decision making. If this describes broadly well your situation, then this guide may help you.

On the other hand, if you are at the beginning of your career and look for your development in specific skills and competencies, then large parts of this guide will not be relevant to your case and you may better follow more classical personal assessment and job seeking techniques.

What will you find in it

The guide describes the journey that will lead you from a confusion state to the bliss of having found what you aspire to.
